Welcome to the Consortium for Educational Communication (CEC)
Education thrives when it is inclusive, innovative, and open to everyone, because knowledge fuels progress. At CEC, we strive to unlock the potential within every person, making learning possible for all, no matter where they are or what challenges they face.
CEC is at the forefront of India's digital higher education as the National Coordinator for the Ministry of Education's SWAYAM MOOCs and SWAYAM Prabha DTH educational channels. Our mission is to empower students, educators, researchers, and lifelong learners across the nation by delivering high-quality digital learning resources. Through an expanding portfolio of MOOCs, Open Educational Resources (OERs), Short Learning Objects (SLOs), and educational broadcasts, we maintain the accessibility, engagement, and societal relevance of information.
The rapidly evolving world of higher education necessitates institutions that are creative, cooperative, adaptable, and future-ready. CEC is dedicated to enhancing digital learning, ensuring fair access to educational opportunities, fostering innovation, and developing transdisciplinary knowledge in line with the revolutionary vision of the National Education Policy (NEP) 2020. Additionally, by emphasizing inclusive, equitable education and opportunities for lifelong learning for all, our activities support the global aim of Sustainable Development Goal 4—Quality Education.
As we look to the future, CEC will continue to embrace new technology, bolster scholarly partnerships, improve the quality of digital learning materials, and explore new methods of disseminating information.
